MEET OUR AGENTS

Tom Mettler earned his Indiana insurance agent license in 1989 while studying at Ball State University. He graduated in 1991 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Insurance and became a full-time producer. Personal lines, life, health, disability and aviation insurance are his areas of focus. Tom is married to Lisa Mettler and has three adult children. When not working, Tom keeps busy shining cars and digging-in-the-dirt in his flower and vegetable gardens. He also enjoys hiking, biking, and year-round fishing.

Dave Mettler earned his Indiana insurance license in 1992 while studying at Vincennes University. He graduated 1992 with an Associate of Science degree in Business Administration and joined the family business. Dave’s concentration is writing commercial lines, bonds, and aviation insurance. He also manages the agency’s information technology. Dave is married to Therese Mettler and has three children. Outside of work, Dave is always busy volunteering with his childrens activities and the Knights of Columbus.

Shelley McCutcheon has been an insurance agent since 1997 and joined the Mettler Agency in 2001. Shelley’s main focus is assisting clients with their personal insurance needs. She really enjoys her work and finds every day to be a new challenge. When not working she enjoys spending time with her kids, grandkids, family, friends and her animals. She is a huge animal lover and donates to various shelters and also attends different events to raise money. Aside from that Shelley is also an avid golfer and has been golfing for 19 years, she also enjoys reading, riding her motorcycle on occasion and is always up for a visit to the casino!

Brandi Shockney joined the Mettler Agency in 2006 as a customer service agent and became a producer agent in 2014. Brandi earned her bachelor’s degree in accounting in 2011. She lives in Roanoke, Indiana with her husband and two children. She enjoys being an active mom, from helping with school musicals, to watching her son play every sport available. Her family enjoys spending their weekends outdoors at campgrounds around the area. Brandi and her family are active members of the Roanoke community volunteering in various town events.

Megan Alberts joined the Mettler Agency as a customer service agent in 2011 and earned her license in November of that year. Megan enjoys assisting clients with their various service needs. She resides in Huntington with her husband and daughter. An active member of The Awakening Community Church, she volunteers as a nursery room teacher. The community also benefits from her dedication to the Indiana Dream Center.

Robin Minnick has been a Mettler Agency customer service agent since 2014. She assists all agency team members with client service needs. Robin also maintains our agency calendar of activities and is always happy to help out. Robin resides in Fort Wayne with her family including two daughters. Robin enjoys anything outdoors in the summer.

Kris Whitted joined the Mettler Agency in 2014 as a Commercial Lines customer service agent. Kris started working in the insurance industry for a large insurance carrier in 1998. Her focus is assisting business clients with their various service needs. Kris and her husband reside in Huntington County. In her free time, she enjoys riding her horses and spending time with family.
